Today, April 7, at Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee kept working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the Italian Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 94,067 people have tested positive, 880 more than yesterday. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 135,586. 17,127 died (604 in the past 24 hours). 24,392 patients have recovered. 3,792 Coronavirus patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 106 fewer than yesterday. At least 94 doctors have died in Italy’s COVID-19 pandemic.
In detail: there are currently 28,343 positive cases in Lombardy, 13,048 in Emilia-Romagna, 10,704 in Piedmont, 9,965 in Veneto, 5,427 in Tuscany, 3,738 in the Marche, 3,212 in Liguria, 3,365 in the Lazio, 2,765 in Campania, 1,890 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2,137 in Puglia, 1,379 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1,859 in Sicily, 1,491 in Abruzzo, 1,301 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 846 in Umbria, 821 in Sardinia, 733 in Calabria, 593 in the Aosta Valley, 265 in Basilicata e 185 in Molise.
In application of the measures to contain the contagion, yesterday, April 6, the police checked 271,675 people. Those who have been reported after police checks were 10,375, 60 those reported pursuant to article 4, d.l. 25.03.2020 n. 19, 14 complaints pursuant to article 495 – 496 PC.
Police controlled 94,129 businesses: 106 operators were reported and 31 businesses were closed.
Thus, they rise to 5,318,103 people and 2,288,086 businesses checked by the police March 11 to April 6.
