Today, April 6, at Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee kept working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the Italian Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 93,187 people have tested positive, 1,941 more than yesterday. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 132,547. 16,523 died (636 in the past 24 hours). 22,837 patients have recovered. 3,898 Coronavirus patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 79 fewer than yesterday. At least 87 doctors have died in Italy’s COVID-19 pandemic.
In detail: there are currently 28,469 positive cases in Lombardy, 13,051 in Emilia-Romagna, 10,545 in Piedmont, 9,722 in Veneto, 5,301 in Tuscany, 3,706 in the Marche, 3,117 in Liguria, 3,300 in the Lazio, 2,698 in Campania, 1,838 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2,115 in Puglia, 1,396 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1,815 in Sicily, 1,425 in Abruzzo, 1,260 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 872 in Umbria, 819 in Sardinia, 722 in Calabria, 567 in the Aosta Valley, 262 in Basilicata e 187 in Molise.
In application of the measures to contain the contagion, yesterday, April 5, the police checked 186,741 people. Those who have been reported after police checks were 11,022, 47 those reported pursuant to article 4, d.l. 25.03.2020 n. 19, 25 complaints pursuant to article 495 – 496 PC.
Police controlled 66,538 businesses: 115 operators were reported and 24 businesses were closed.
Thus, they rise to 5,046,428 people and 2,193,957 businesses checked by the police March 11 to April 5.
