Today, April 5, at Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee kept working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the components and operational structures of the Italian Civil Protection Service.
As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of Coronavirus across national territory, at present 91,246people have tested positive, 2,972 more than yesterday. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy is 128,948. 15,887 died (525 in the past 24 hours). 21,815 patients have recovered. 3,977 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized in intensive care, 17 fewer than yesterday.
In detail: there are currently 28,124 positive cases in Lombardy, 12,837 in Emilia-Romagna, 10,177 in Piedmont, 9,409 in Veneto, 5,185 in Tuscany, 3,578 in the Marche, 3,093 in Liguria, 3,186 in the Lazio, 2,621 in Campania, 1,795 in the autonomous Province of Trento, 2,022 in Puglia, 1,363 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1,774 in Sicily, 1,420 in Abruzzo, 1,226 in the autonomous Province of Bolzano, 898 in Umbria, 815 in Sardinia, 706 in Calabria, 576 in the Aosta Valley, 254 in Basilicata e 187 in Molise.
In application of the measures to contain the contagion, yesterday, April 4, the police checked 229,104 people. Those who have been reported after police checks were 9,284, 54 those reported pursuant to article 4, d.l. 25.03.2020 n. 19, 10 complaints pursuant to article 495 – 496 PC.
Police controlled 87,364 businesses: 173 operators were reported and 27 businesses were closed.
Thus, they rise to 4,859,687 people and 2,127,419 businesses checked by the police March 11 to April 4.
